There are 2 processing options available for the India Visit visa:
Normal Processing (3 to 6 days): Follows a standard timeline at no additional cost.
Urgent Processing (1 to 3 days): Provides the fastest e-Visa approval at an extra cost.
Validity: 5 Years from the date of grant of ETA.
Entries: Multiple entries are permitted.
Duration of Stay: For most nationals the continuous stay in India on each entry is upto 90 days. UK, USA, Canada and Japanese nationals can stay in India for at most 180 days during each visit.
Travellers wishing to stay in India more than the permitted period can apply for India e-Visa extension. The process can be completed online without the need of personally visiting the FRRO or FRO office.
