Who Can Apply for an Indian e-Conference Visa?
You can apply if:
- Your nationality is listed among the eligible
countries for Indian e-Visa.
- You hold a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the intended
arrival
date.
- You will not engage in any sort of paid work in India.
- You plan to depart India as soon as your e-Visa expires.
What Documents Do You Need to Prepare Before Applying?
Applicants must prepare the following
required documents for the Indian e-Visa:
- Passport Bio Page Scan: The scan must be legible and
clearly show all essential details of the applicant, including the MRZ
code.
- Applicant Photograph: Upload a colored, full-face scan of
the
applicant. Blurry and highly modified images are not accepted.
- Invitation from the Organiser: A formal invitation letter
from the
organiser confirming the applicant’s participation in a conference,
workshop
or seminar in India.
- Political Clearance from MEA: An official documentissued by
the
Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, to confirm that the event
has
been granted political approval.
- Event Clearance from MHA: An official approval document
issued by
the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, confirming your
participation in
a specified seminar, conference or workshop.
How to Apply for the Indian e-Conference Visa?
Access the application, select “Indian e-Conference visa” as
your visa type,
and accurately fill in your passport, general and conference details.
Attach clear scans of the required documents, then click on
“upload” to
proceed to the payment stage.
Complete fee payment using a valid credit / debit card or any other
acceptable payment
option. Processing begins only after a successful payment.
Receive your approved eVisa by email and print a copy to present it upon
arrival at
immigration check.
