Things to Know Before Applying for an Indian e-Medical Attendant Visa

  • The attendant must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries for Indian e-Visa.
  • Applications involving Indian patients are not accepted.
  • The patient must already have an approved Indian e-Medical visa, as their details are required for an e-Medical attendant visa application.
  • Eligible medical attendants should arrive in India together with the patient.
  • The visa can be granted only to a maximum of two attendants.

What Indian e-Visa Processing Options Can I Apply For?

Applicants can select from 2 different processing options:

  • Normal Processing: 3 to 6 days(follows a standard processing timeline)
  • Urgent Processing: 1 to 3 days (faster processing for urgent travel)

Note: Choosing urgent processing adds an additional cost to your total amount.

  • Validity Period: 60 days from the date of first entry on this e-Visa.
  • Permitted Entries: Triple entries allowed within the e-Visa validity period.
